Then they did it all again two more times.

Next Teacher Yang said it was time to work on cartwheels. She said some students might choose to do flips instead!

Everyone lined up in front of the mats. Lily was chosen to show them a flip. She ran to the mat, lifted her arms, and flipped over, landing flat on her feet.

“Remember, cartwheels are just fine too,” said Teacher Yang.

Some kids did cartwheels, some practiced flips. Apollo picked a flip, since he already knew how to do it.

Next, they worked on turns.

Teacher Yang pointed her arms and kicked one leg out. She spun around in a circle.

“Looks cool!” said Apollo.

Astrid nodded.

Before long, Teacher Yang announced that rehearsal was over. “I don’t like surprises,” she told the students. “During the audition, do the steps just the way I showed you. No surprises!”
